PROJEM is continuing to follow and monitor the recommended actions regarding health, mandatory quarantine and self-imposed quarantine as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Our Response
Our disaster management plan is imposed to minimise as much risk as possible to our employees, contractors, customers and suppliers. Our business is still however committed to maintaining a high level of service to our customers and vital industries.
In line with Government guidelines, we have imposed the following actions to ensure the continuity of business and the health and well being of our people and yours. we look forward to your support in implementing the measures we have put in place:
EMPLOYEES
- All employees are to follow the basic protective measures against COVID-19, published by the Australian Health Department https://www.health.gov.au/news/health-alerts/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-health-alert
- Workshop hours have been reduced, as of the 23rd of March 2020.
- Office staff are working remotely from home (where possible), as of the 23rd or March 2020.
- Any worker who has flu-like symptoms must not attend work, notify Projem Management immediately and seek medical advice.
- Employees are to avoid all non-essential domestic travel, as outlined by the Australian Health Department. Where an employee has travelled to urban areas or interstate a COVID-19 Risk Assessment Form must be completed and Management approval obtained, prior to returning to work.
- Any employee that travels overseas, must self-isolate at home for a minimum of 14 days, as outlined by the Australian Health Department A COVID-19 Risk Assessment Form must be completed and Management approval obtained, prior to returning to work.
- Any Worker who is exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19 must notify directors immediately, seek medical advice and self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days, as outlined by the Australian Health Department. A COVID-19 Risk Assessment Form must be completed and Management approval obtained, prior to returning to work.
VISITORS/SUBCONTRACTORS
- All visitors/subcontractors must fill in our COVID-19 Risk Assessment Form and obtain approval, prior to entering our workshop or site job.
- Any visitor/subcontractor who develops flu-like symptoms while in our workshop or on a site must contact Projem Management immediately, isolate themselves and seek medical advice.
- Any visitor/subcontractor that has travelled overseas in the last 14 days must notify Projem Management prior to commencing the site contract and have fulfilled their 14 day self-isolation period, as outlined by the Australian Health Department. Once complete, fill in our COVID-19 Risk Assessment Form and obtain approval, prior to entering the site.
- Any visitor/subcontractor that has travelled from urban areas or interstate a COVID-19 Risk Assessment Form must be completed and Management approval obtained, prior to commencing work.
SITE WORKERS
- All FIFO/DIDO workers employed by Projem for a site contract must fill in our COVID-19 Risk Assessment Form and obtain approval, prior to commencing work.
- Any Projem worker who develops flu-like symptoms while onsite, must isolate themselves, contact a Projem supervisor immediately, seek medical advice and follow site instructions.
- Any Projem worker that has travelled overseas in the last 14 days must notify Projem Management prior to commencing the site contract and have fulfilled their 14 day self-isolation period, as outlined by the Australian Health Department. Once complete, fill in our COVID-19 Risk Assessment Form and obtain approval, prior to entering the site.
- Any worker that has travelled interstate in the last 14 days must notify Projem Management immediately, complete a COVID-19 Risk Assessment Form and obtain approval, prior to attending a Projem site.
- Any FIFO/DIDO worker employed by Projem must not stay at camp accommodation where possible.
- During a site contract Projem workers are to avoid buses or public transport where possible, using Projem or private vehicles to travel to/from site.
